In one of the most absurd political correctness stories so far in 2008, Kelly Tilghman - a golf analyst, said that the only way for other golfers to beat Tiger Woods was to "lynch him in a back alley,". It was a joke that was intended to speak of Tiger's greatness, not his partial African Americaness.
Tiger said he wasn't offended, that him and Tilghman were friends - and he (Tiger) considered it a non-story.
Today, Jim Brown more or less said that Tiger wasn't doing his part in furthering the cause of his fore fathers in fighting racial bigotry and discrimination.
Apparently, both Tiger Woods and Micheal Jordan don't get it - They are to get their talking points regarding what offends them from Jim Brown. They are not allowed individual rights and personal freedom because of their social status...oh my...I thought that was what Martin Luther King Jr. was fighting for????
