They are attacking The University of Clemson once again for Tommy Bowden's 'Church Day' in which he encourages his football team to visit a local church on an annual Sunday. You can read the article in the Sporting News HERE.
Here's a couple of points:
1. It is voluntary, so how does it violate rights?
2. No one is punished for not showing up, so what is the big deal?
3. The University has bowed down in one respect that they do not let the team use school owned buses, such garbage!
4. University's promote and allow all sorts of insanity such as porn shows, Islamic extremists seminars, etc. Just don't let kids go to church once a year.
5. The ACLU is acting independently, not on the behalf of a citizen who feels violated - so, this is totally agenda driven
Stay Strong Tommy, and Clemson big wigs - don't bow down to these morons!
